News About Trixi

Thank you to everyone who helped make this benefit a huge success. Trixi is in the process of scheduling her surgery: we have prevailed.

People have been asking for numbers so here goes:

  • Admission (after club costs): 5,200
  • On-site auction sales, Spanking Booth, Polaroids and Hot Dogs: 2,200
  • Expected Collected Revenue from Silent Auction: 1,000
  • PayPal, Money Orders and Personal Check Donations: 1,300
  • For a Total of $9,700

Considering my personal goal for the event was $10,000, I think this rules.

Now, the next biggest news is that Trixi's lawyer has just arranged a settlement from the insurance company. Irony of ironies, this JUST happened! The settlement is not anywhere near what Trixi needed and asked for but this is wonderful news nonetheless. This is a settlement, not actual coverage and much of it goes to the lawyer. So don't expect Trixi to be taking us all out to dinner just yet. Want to see just how much Trixi needs this money still? Here are some figures:

  • Doctors bills for visits so far (not yet paid) 5,000
  • The actual surgery: 30,000
  • Rehabilitation 2,000 - 10,000
  • Amount of time Trixi cannot work and won't be paid: 1 month
  • Recovery period with repeated doctor visits: 6 months

We will keep you posted on the surgery. Hell, we hope to make a video of it. If you have further questions about Trixi's condition, please email me, Ruby Lamb: rubylamb@satanscheerleaders.com

Other News

The Charter Bulldogs could not play due to their singer, Ben, being in the hospital. That sucks. Get better, Ben!

Hobble played in their place. They were great. Yay Hobble!
