Now the Real Story Can Be Told

by Trixi Stix (1999)

Back in '95, before "Squad 666" went public, Trixi Stix and Lucky Dukes were two post-graduate cheerleaders without a gig...until a greasy, smooth talkin', psychobilly boy named Buster Crash slithered up and said, "Hey, wanna cheer for my band?!"

The Flametrick Subs, a local Austin, Texas band, wanted to spice up their Halloween show with a stage act. Trixi and Lucky drafted Buster's girlfriend as a third, and the Team of The Satan's Cheerleaders and The Flametrick Subs was ready to play. Squad 666 endured some growing pains, as Trixi and Lucky attempted trial and error to assemble the perfect squad of five.

Enter Katnip, Priss E. Bitch, and Vixin Nixin. During this time, our winning team created an aggressive stage act - a Texas-style pep rally from Hell. These antics led to the release of two albums on French label Last Call, two music videos, the South-by-Southwest Music Fest, and basically built quite an international cult following. While the girls are forever loyal to their "Flametrick Alma Mater," their talents are not limited to the psychobilly pep rally spectacular.

The Satan's Cheerleaders are quite active in the "black" arts of Shameless Self-Promotion. The evil escapades of our sweethearts gained the attention of Christians and Sinners alike. The Satan's Cheerleaders have made guest appearances onstage with such bands as The Misfits, The Pie Tasters, and, yes, Motley Crue. In addition to musical cameos, the squad finds the time to hostess parties, attend movie premieres, moonlight as bodyguards, and maintain an extensive selection of promotional merchandise... soon to be available on this site. The anniversary of The Satan's Cheerleaders is October 31. This Halloween, 1999, the debutantes will celebrate four years of weekly pep rallies and committing random acts of evil.
