January 19: Cheerleaders join the Flametrick Subs in Houston Attention all Satan's Cheerleaders fans in Houston and any great evil spirits travelling to Houston for the tattoo convention: Trixi, Vixin, Lucky and Priss will be joining the Subs onstage at Fitzgeralds on Friday night. The band goes on at 9:00 so plan accordingly! |

January 20: Monster Pansy Ball Skate on the thin ice of gender fantasy! 2001: A Monster Pansy Ball features performative queer video and film, with an appearance by Zach Stratis, director of last year's Sundance hit "Could Be Worse" in attendance. 6pm til 8pm at the OffCenter, Jan. 20th. The Performathon continues with DragCapades! at 9pm skip, trip and flip to the beat of miscellaneous genders as Austin's finest Kings, boys, and whatevers tap into their testosterone Mc'd by Raunchy Reckless and Ruby Lamb, dj Kate Messer with appearances by The Satan's Cheerleaders! January 28: Rollerskate Birthday Bash in Honor of Trixi Stix, Ruby Lamb & Noah Lucas 6:30 - 9:30 pm at Playland: 8822 McCann Drive (Off Research, 183, and Mopac). $7 includes skate rental & birthday cake. Any proceeds will benefit Mike & Layla: victims of a New Year's fire on 6th street. Skate with Noah, Ruby, Trixi and The Satans Cheerleaders to the pleasing sounds of punk rock, hip-hop, dance, rockabilly, funk, glam and more. Bring your own skates or blades if you'd like.
