Do you have a talent for drawing real women? Do you like to please the Dark Lord? Would you like to have your art advertised on our Web site and at our live shows? Well, then pay attention:
The Satan’s Cheerleaders are pleased to announce our 666 T-Shirt Design Contest. Here are the guidelines:
- Submit hi res TIFF or JPG (2000 pixels minimum all ways) and low res GIF or JPG (500 minimum all ways) copies of your design to rubylamb@satanscheerleaders.com by September 1, 2005. You will receive an e-mail confirming your entry. If you do not receive the e-mail, send an inquiry to: rubylamb@austin.rr.com.
- By submitting your artwork, you are agreeing to release the design to us. You will be agreeing not to make your own merchandise with this artwork and not to sell this artwork to anyone else. You are, of course, allowed to use the artwork for your personal portfolio.
- Keep in mind artwork is to be used for a T-shirt design. Keep lines simple, bold and crisp.
- You may design a full-color piece or a two-color piece. All full-color pieces should translate well to two colors.
- You may incorporate “Squad 666” and/or “Satan’s Cheerleaders” into your design but this is not required. We can always add our mark later.
- We never wear heels. Platforms and combat boots are great, but nothing with a heel.
- We would not want to be portrayed topless (meaning- no nipples). If there is a pompom in front of us or something that is OK. Otherwise, please do not make us nude.
- Some of us have bigger breasts and some smaller breasts. Don't make us all look like we share one rack.
- Try to base your body shapes on our shapes. Do not make us all look like Barbie. We like our butts and we like them shapely. No small butts! And also no enormous R. Crumb butts either.
- All designs are welcome. They do not have to be representations of actual cheerleaders. Symbols, words and abstract graphics are also welcomed.
- Winner will receive a permanent link on our Web site. Design will be seriously considered for merchandise. If we make merchandise from your artwork, you will be receive 10 free shirts and you will be able to some more from us at a seriously discounted rate (to cover costs of printing and shirts).
